Randy Haley was born in Birmingham, Alabama February 14, 1955. Randy grew up in Florida and graduated from Tampa-Bay Vocational-Technical High School in 1973.

In 1990, Randy, his wife and children moved to Kentucky to be closer to his family who lived here in Graves County. Randy was hired by the City of Mayfield as a dispatcher in 1993. He was then employed by the Mayfield Fire Department in 1998 as a Firefighter/EMT. While employed by the city he also served as a Deputy Jailer, Chief of Bailiffs for Circuit and District Courts, and Constable until his appointment as Jailer for Graves County in 2003. In 2007 he was re-elected for a second term.

Randy is a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Kentucky Jailers Association; American Jail Association; Assistant Chief of the Sedalia Fire Department.
